Built With Aloha (BWA) is a family-run, licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor based in Hillsboro, Oregon — serving the greater Portland Metro, Southwest Washington, and Bend.
Originating on Oahu, Hawaii, brothers Gavin, Shane, and Keone spent years perfecting their craft across the island. Working maintenance and construction on the military bases, residential properties, and vacation homes, they earned valuable experience at an early age in every facet of construction — from foundations and framing to the most exacting finish carpentry.
In 2011 they moved to Central Oregon to contribute to the booming custom-vacation-home industry around Bend. In 2018 they expanded into the Portland Metro area and have continued — quietly, project by project — to Build With Aloha.
Today BWA specializes in custom cabinetry, kitchen and bathroom remodels, built-ins, and whole-home renovations for clients who value craft, communication, and a contractor that picks up the phone.
